Learn Your Birds!

Learn Your Birds! is a lightweight bird song / call guessing game, for birders to improve their sound ID skills. A problem that I noticed in online call guessing games was the inability to select specific birds, or a lack of quality sounds, so here is my solution!

Learn Your Birds! does not come packaged with any sounds. To add sounds:  

1. Download sounds off of the internet (xeno-canto.org is a great source).
2.  Navigate to the "birds" folder in the project.
3. Add a new folder and name it, and drop the audio files in there. Optionally, add an image of the bird (jpg and png are supported). Repeat steps 1-3 to add as many birds as you'd like.
4. Run the application, click on the bird icon in the bottom right to see the list of all installed birds, and select the ones you'd like to test yourself on.
